Assault cannon into a mini gun

As the Title says I would like to turn a assault cannon into a mini gun. Im not a seasoned modeler at all I'm more of a plug and play and hope it looks good kinda guy. But this is the one converstion I would like to do.

This is my thought on it so far. I was just going to take one of my wg tda assault cannons and trim off the arm so that I'm left with the AC body and ammo feed as that make the model a big part for me. Next I was thinking of taking the arm off a heavy bolter dev to use as the trigger arm. Then maybe take one of the power fists or gk tda arms and make it the other Rm to hold on to said weapon. I'm just wondering if this will work before I take the time and money to do this.

And a side note would a heavy bolter back pack look out of place on the back of this terminator?

IS this what you want to build? Chain gun with Ammo Box, ala Predator & Terminator...

On another note the Ravenwing sprew has unattached AssCannons that might work better than removing arms.

Yes that is what I'm looking for. And i did look at the RW spure I might just go with that for easy of converting and attach a ammo feed

Looks pretty good on a PA marine

I've always thought this kind of conversion would look really cool as a "counts as" heavy bolter

Looks great but I cant help but laugh. For some reason my mind is flashing images of a DeWalt lawn blower being used at the local park. Ya I know, they don't make one, it's just the color combinations that got to me.

So I'll just re-name it now. The Lawn Blower". It would fit right in with my Squadron of three Landspeeder Tornadoes that I affectionately call the "Snow Shovel".
