I will of course make it a DA successor :lol: They,re gonna be a defense/SWAT chapter in combat, while fluff wise they serve as Wardens or Jailers of Fallen or other "persons of interest" on their way to The Rock. Interesting idea, although I wonder how the logistics of handing in persons of interest to your chapter to carry to the Rock would work. Waiting for another chapter to pick up a prisoner and escort him to the rock sounds like a rather convoluted way of doing things when you could just get him there yourself. Arthanor Posted September 18, 2012 Share Posted September 18, 2012 Sounds more like a "special unit" formed by the inner circle within chapters for this specific purpose than a chapter in itself then. Also, I assume you are creating this chapter to use for an army but this idea of being scattered across the galaxy in order to have a small contingent with every Unforgiven force does not lend itself to a very big army. How about a force dedicated to the hunt of the fallen and cover up of leaks? They could have been created so that, when other unforgiven hear of the Fallen, they can call the wardens and stay on their battlefield instead of arousing suspicion by packing up and letting their allies die. They would also be the ones responsible for taking care of leaks (ex.: Ophidium Gulf) such that, if the imperium ever notices, the unforgiven only have to agree that the wardens went rogue, instead of everyone having to share the blame. It would be a cool background to have a chapter who knows that they will be the scapegoats if their attempt at hiding the fallen secret attracts attention and are thus all the more motivated in carrying out the job to the end. And my plan is to make a 1000 point list or so of these guys to fight alongside my Dark Angels. I may use the SM codex for them though. Any way, Im planning on making their fortress monastery a mega prison of sorts, have it on the moon of a Hive World, and they recruit from the younger inmates or the kids born in it.
