Astoran Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Greetings fellow wolves. I have just returned to WH40k after having a long, long break. My last game was just before 3rd editon hit the shelves. I started out with Rouge Trader and played with a few different armies. My first army was a very small Orc warband. I abandoned them for Squats. Still miss them =( When my gaming group got 2nd ed I started a Space Marine army that I stuck to until we stopped playing. They years flew by and I almost forgot about the hobby when friend at work got me hooked. This is when I decided to go for a new army. I have allways had a soft spot for the nordic feel of the Space Wolves so it was a no brainer. So here I am, with the beginning of a great company to lead in to the heat of battle. I joined this forum in hopes to pick up a trick or two from you battle hardened veterans so I too can claim victories for Russ and the Allfather in the future. Thanks for reading. Welcome to the Fang. Are you finding your way around well or are there tips/tricks you'd like our comments on that you couldn't find via the forum search function? Before you ask on what or how to build your army, utilize the stickied topics to your advantage. Also, any advice we could offer will benefit from what your playstyle is and/or what models you have already, or intend to get. Above all, please post pics of your painted models if possible. We love looking at Sons of Russ and are more than willing to offer a critique if requested. I'm hoping to get my third Grey Hunters pack done tonight while watching the game from across the big pond. I'm planning to have my first game against Grey Knights in a week or two. I have no idea how to beat them but I guess I'll take a few Psy Cannon shots to the head and take it from there =) As soon as my Astartes looks respectable I'll be posting a pic or two.
