IronDragon66
I finished the Eisenhorn trilogy and started the Ravenor trilogy..... - at the end of the the Eisenhorn trilogy there is a relatively descriptive attempt at what he and his chair looks like, but it still isnt working for me. I google imaged it and there are a bunch of pics of home made very boring floating cubes. - So from the description in the book there is a spinning ring creating a kind of "oily" screen so you cant see his body, it floats, and supposedly has dual psy-cannons? What the heck does this thing look like ??? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/261412-what-does-ravenor-look-like/ Share on other sites

IronDragon66
yeah i saw that one.... - so is the black coffin thing at the bottom supposed to be his chair? and im guessing the shredded/burned guy at the top of the pic is Molotch? Yep. It's pretty chair-ish. The guy at the top is likely Carl Thonius in his evil form. IronDragon66
i guess i just expected more of a "Professor X" looking guy. Then again he was horribly disfigured at the Thracian Gate incident. - maybe i just expected something more dynamic, but i am only 45 pages into Ravenor......so im sure that pic and its representation of Ravenor will grow on me :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/261412-what-does-ravenor-look-like/#findComment-3180842 Share on other sites
Circus Nurgling
So how would you represent that on the tabletop? :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/261412-what-does-ravenor-look-like/#findComment-3184378 Share on other sites
IronDragon66
the first thing that really came to mind was an opaque slightly glowing orb.... - the orb would be a screen of psy power created by Ravenor that acted as a psy shield.....not sure exactly, thats just the first thing that i thought of when i read the excerpt in Eisenhorn of Ravenors chair thingy. Paulochromis
i pictured him as a No 8 pool ball attached to a chair. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/261412-what-does-ravenor-look-like/#findComment-3187263 Share on other sites
chaplainmeliadus
My mental picture was basically a small necron monolith. Slow floating box with cannons on the corners.
