Looks like I was close to how packs would be bigger then normal.

Did you see the Warmaster's stat-line? I can't wait to see Leman Russ when they do his in the future *drool*

Yea, he was pretty slick. They say the rules for each primarch have already been hammered out and they are all unique to the primarch. I cant wait to see if Russ gets his wolves and what hi weapon rules will be like compared to the Warmasters.

Russ was dispatched to Prospero previous to the purge at Istvaan III. Whether he arrived and attacked Prospero by that time is anyone's guess.

Let's bear in mind, though, that this is a fairly tight timeline. Horus is languishing in the Serpent Temple on Davin when Magnus tries to save him via astral projection, and within a week, Magnus projects to Terra, fouls the Throne, breaks the seal on the Webway, and Russ is tasked to bring him to heel. Horus, having just recovered from his wounding and at this point still ostensibly loyal to the Emperor, provides Russ with amplifying and damning information on Magnus's transgressions, pretty much guaranteeing Magnus isn't coming out of this with his head on his shoulders. At the same time, Horus starts re-tasking loyalist legions he knows he can't turn, and turning those he can in the lead-up to the Istvaan III purge of his ranks.

That's a lot of chainsaws to juggle for old Horus.

Now, whether Russ arrived at Prospero before Istvaan III or after, or before/after Istvaan V, we don't know. By this point, Horus has the Powers screwing up warp travel, so it's anybody's guess. Odds are, though, he got to Prospero in good time, only to find it really tough getting back, possibly becalmed somewhere along the way. Whether Russ knows about the betrayal after the burning of Prospero or spends some time still in the dark about the Heresy is anyone's guess at this point.
