I say Mark IV - was meant to be notably superior to Mark III for general use, Polux is a captain.

MkIII was favoured for bordering actions, but otherwise IV was the go. Given Sigismund hadn't raided Mars when Polux set out, less likely to be VI.

Mark IV was the go for the traitor legions. When the Heresy broke out mk IV was replacing the older marks, but Horus had redirected loyalists resources to the legions being set up to be part of his rebellion. When the Heresy broke out most of the mk IV was in traitor hands.

Of course the loyalists had some mk IV, and Polux could have had a suit. But statistically he would have had mk III or something else.

But perhaps the story says specifacally what he wore into battle? I haven't got the book next to me right now to check it. out

Would suggest Forgeworld's Mk III Iron Armour, boarding shield and a power fist based on a quick scan through of the story, not sure how else to differentiate/distinguish him as there is not much detail of his armour other than scenes with the shield, comment about having void-hardened battle plate and the use of power fist
