FF151
Hey Guys, Here is another Paladin of mine. I absolutely love how these Grey Knights look. I fell in love with the colour scheme about 2 years ago when I painted some GK for a friend and I knew I had to have some. Now with 6th and allowing other armies, these guys will be fighting alongside my Crimson Fists! I know they are so points heavy but fun to paint! and evil looking ;) Whatcha think?? http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8316/8017918376_57fbbc5aca.jpg Grey knight paladin 2 by ff151, on Flickr http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8306/8017917216_053d107694.jpg Grey Knight Paladin by ff151, on Flickr http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8452/8017916010_c07a2d9b9a.jpg Marneus by ff151, on Flickr http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8304/8017917223_a03b368633.jpg 4 Grey Knights by ff151, on Flickr Here is a 360 HD video of him, and also a heads up to an awesome Kolinsky series 7 brush sale going on right now. jadebullet
Very neat. I like that the metal looks like bare metal, rather than painted silver.
smallvictory
That's a great look! Not sold on the giant bases but I really like the style of your force weapons. I've been struggling to find a method I like and this might be it.
dizzy-xc
Heh, amazing paint job, but... dontcha hate it when someone adds in a but... BUT, the bases you put the GKs on are HUGE! WOW! I think its a bit comical looking to an otherwise awesome paint scheme which I am in agreement, love it. When I base my models, I usually decide to make them compatible with the circular size of the base itself so as not to impede a proper pile with other models in close assault and also to be able to properly measure from base to base and to see if blast and template markers hit. I cant see how you can do that with those overly large scenic looking base. Are you making these models for the tabletop or for show? If its for show, I have stuck my foot in my mouth.
