Swapping Spell

Im not sure if this question has been brought up before. I am just wondering how do we actually swap spell. If you are a master level 2 does that mean that you can swap only 2 spell or you can swap spell for spell... like Njal knows all spell in our codex.. so that mean you can swap spell for spell doesnt matter the number or are limited to 2 attemps only because of your level

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking but i'll attempt to answer your question to the best of my ability. I think you're trying to ask is if you take najal and choose to take the psychic powers from the 40k rule book (i.e. divination for prescience), how many rule book powers does he get to generate?

 

According to the FAQ located HERE, "A Space Wolves Rune Priest (including Njal Stormcaller) may use the psychic disciplines found in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, instead of those in Codex: Space Wolves. If he does so, generate two new powers from the Biomancy, Divination or Telekinesis disciplines (in any combination) before armies are deployed."

 

In other words, a mastery level 1 or 2 rune priest will know 2 powers either from the codex or from the rulebook and najal will know either all of the codex powers or 2 rule book powers.
