templarios
I keep hearing that ForgeWolrd models are now allowed in regular 40K games. Has GW officially sanctioned their use or has FW said that they are simply compatible with 40K but you still need your opponent's permission? I play with many who refuse to say yes to ForgeWorld. Circus Nurgling
Outside of tournaments, it's just plain lame to say no to FW models and rules. People get too competitive... but I'll digress from there. Basically, it's still a point of contention among a lot of people. Gamers cite the GW logo on the forge world books and say it's legal, while others cite tournament rules that bar FW and say that it isn't legal at all. So yeah, it's basically up to your opponent to say yes to it. You could always argue that 'this isn't a tournament, and this is an officially licensed GW product, and doesn't say that it's only for use in Apocalypse games' (which a lot of FW rules are specifically for).
