First up is my dark apostle. When I first got my hands on the DV set, I had to do something about the DA chaplain...With the new plastic mutlikits, conversion possibilities are everywhere so I decided to use his components for conversions! I know...It might be blasphemy to kitbash using a limited edition model...but hey, a little blasphemy never hurts...Especially when you are a word bearer! The apostle is coming along nicely but I've gotten distracted by my latest purchase. When the new CSM minis were released, I was very disappointed to find out that the old CS marines weren't redone. Having just started this army, I couldn't bare having to field old plastics with the new DV set on the same table so I decided to take matters into my own hands. Here's my own CSM built from the new raptors/talons set which I must add, is an amazing box! There was a lot of reposing to do as well as many subtle modifications you might not notice. In 20 yrs of GW I've never been anything but a loyalist, but they....are tempting me, maybe just a small warband along with DV....
