I cant stand the obliterator model and want to keep it a 1ksons pure force. elithren Posted October 2, 2012 Author Share Posted October 2, 2012 While I agree they are lacking on the chaosy aspect of the design, I'm trying to stick to a more heresy era in that the 1ksons just went into the eye of terror and haven't spent all their time adding spikes to their armor yet. Never been a fan of all the crazy amount of spikes chaos does. I'm trying to go for more of just sorcerer. I'm currently bouncing around ideas so any suggestions are helpful. However, I do think that having their complete shoulder plates, some of the most eye-catching parts of any marine model, in shiny silver makes the comparison to grey knights really automatic for anyone looking at them. elithren Posted October 3, 2012 Author Share Posted October 3, 2012 I see your point. Overall, not happy about the color so I'll be painting the next one differently. I think I'll go with preheresy coloring of red and gold. My intent is to use the GK book icons as the main "icon" for the army, showing the book of magnus, but I'll see if I like the serpent circle mixed in with it to help them stand out as sorcerers.
