Necris Posted September 27, 2012 Share Posted September 27, 2012 So in the wake of GDUK 2012 my local gaming club has launched a 1st founding legion challenge. The rules are simple construct a 2000pts force using any of the Space Marine codex's Paint your force in either pre heresy or post heresy colours End date for the competition is 30th Jan 2013 We drew lots from a bucket to select which legions we were going to be painting and I drew the Luna Wolves So I went digging in my collection of minis and well I've come up with quite a substantial force of unpainted miniatures to start off with 2 x 10 man tactical squads 2 x 10 man assault squads (1 with jump packs 1 with drop pod) 2 x Rhinos 1 x Predator So I sat down and and set about painting some minis I first had to chose which version of the Luna Wolves I wanted to paint Luna Wolves or Sons of Horus I painted one of each and the Sons came out as my favourite so here is my first 5 man combat squad http://i1147.photobucket.com/albums/o557/TonyWallace83/100_0374.jpg I plan on adding more character to the force naming sergeants and so forth I suspect I will also attempt to make some characters from the horus heresy books at some point Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
