Looks great. I was thinking of getting a CONTEMPTOR for my 13 company and I was looking to get 2 clawed Ccw but they only sell one side. So is the arms for the CONTEMPTOR able to fit on eather side?

Thanks again and keep up the good work can't wait to see more

Yep, contemptor arms are two-side-mount-able :D

Fantastic sculpt, BTW. I had some minor miscasts, but its OK.

I'm thinking of adding him winged wolfskull icon from wolves pack , what do you think about it ?

Thanks for feedback, u cant even imagine how much i appreciate it!

PS:sorry for grammar mistakes, im not native-english speaker

Very nice models, well painted. GReat job on removing the Imperial Eagle on the Contemptor. Thought about doing it with mine but just couldn't bring myself to do it. LOL! With that set-up you should consider a Lucius Pattern Drop Pod so he can assault on the turn he DS. With 6th, it shakes up your opponent usually & let's him live a little longer. I think that symbol is a good choice. I also added the wolves head with dagger in its mouth to the side of one of the legs of mine as well as some of the brass plates from Forge World. Did you consider adding the CML?

Drop pod is considerated hardly ;)

Im think about adding him icon from old SW sprue on greyblue shoulderpad. He has pretty much decals so he looks much more "wolfy" when ur looking at him 360 degrees

I dont have money for CML now (need to gather basics of army firstly) and its mini for fun games, and CML dont fits my tastes visually so frankly speakin'- nope :)

WiP of another GH , decalwork, backpack and base missing yet. I've also painted some WFB stuff , but cant post here, check out my blog to see 'em.

I;ve managed to destroy nozzle in airbrush, and cant finish Rune Priest :D And im also waiting for a plinth for him

Well , i plan to post tutorial on "how to paint SW in my way " on blog.

Basically its : undercoat -> shadow grey -> agrax earthshade -> standard mix of shadow gray and SW grey (avoiding receses areas) -> highlights -> matt varnish (agrax is a bit too glossy fir my tastes)

on Contemptor there is no agrax, just my self made mix of bestial brown and chaos black with a lot of water and drop of glaze medium, works same well.

i'm flattered that someone is interested in way i paint my pusps ^_^

sorry chap - I would've commented earlier but RL is limiting me to checking my forums on the phone...

I'm not sure if he looks Rune Priesty enough for me but it's deffo a fine model you've got there - idk maybe it's just me being odd as I love the 'normal' RP with a big staff job haha

I was trying to glue him with axe so he can match his Finecast friend. I belive he will stand out, as rest of my army will be based on old SW models, with less ornaments than new ones.

Hoever, uve got a point there, ill think what can i do in order to make him stand out more

I like what I see, the painting is ace, but I have a question and a suggestion.

Are you going to bling the Contemptor some more, it looks a bit flat for being such an ancient machine?

About the new rune priest. I think it might be the axe that makes it look like an ordinary Wolf guard. I would suggest either change the head of the axe in someway or "runefie" his armour, and change the colour on his shoulders as he now has the standard Wolf guard colours. Maybe paint one colour black or use one of the shoulders who are a bit special, like the one with a skull or such. Otherwise I think your painting is good I especially like the colour on your first Rune priest face. How do you do it?

Not one to put a dampner on things but there's a few things that would improve your minis.

- another highlight. To me it looks like a base coat and black lining but no highlights on the armour.

- drill out the barrels on your guns. Personally this makes a huge difference.

- few more shades on fur areas.

Good work though so don't be discouraged.
