ZelousMatyr
hey all, ive just restarted wargaming after a 2 year hiatus. I was originally a 15mm World War II player but am an avid reader of black liabary material, so last week i took the plunge and bought dark vengance. im currently planning on painting my CSM army as word bearers so C&C is vital, please comment. thanks ZM http://i45.tinypic.com/2dawrh3.jpg PS any tips on painting or photography will be taken on bored Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/262158-dv-word-bearer-chosen/ Share on other sites
tyrannosaurus
Welcome on board, I've got into the gaming side of things fairly recently after always being into the 40k background for a long time and I'm really enjoying it. The model looks good - quite gritty and menacing and the gold came out well. The wash is pretty heavy though and I think you should maybe spend more time cleaning up some of the places where it's pooled by painting over with the original red colour. If you just want to get some models ready for gaming at tabletop standard then it seems fine to me. Looking forward to seeing more.
