Probably wont hear back from me till right up to the 30th. I've a 3000 word paper and Finals due on the 28th.

:eek

What is THAT? Just for the record, once you're done with the 5 Speeders, you'll have 15+ 2x4 (AB)+ 2x5 (LS) = 33 RW troopers. That means 33% of the Second Company! Any chance you raise to 100? I mean combined with your work from the ETL, how many fully painted RW do you have by now? This is impressive - it calls for a family picture!!! :tu:

When completed my Ravenwing in Black PA will be as follows;

HQ:

Sammi in both configurations; LS & JB

Command Sqd of three w/AB

2X Libbi & 2X Chappi on bikes

Troops:

6X RWAS complete w/ AB's & Speeders

Support:

3X LS Typhoons

Total count minus one Sammi, Chappies and Libbies = 71

I am thinking that at this point another full RWAS Command Sqd for the HQ, three bikes and a LS for the existing Command Sqd, and 10 more Landspeeders for two RWSS will fill the bill. Then I'll need to find an Apoc game to put them in.

I'll post a family picture when they are all completed.

I also have a Demi RWAS w/AB and three LS Tornadoes in DA Green attached to my Company Team Alpha.

Nice with the unit color cohesion on the bottom of the bases.

Thanks I started color coding my DW after a particular game that I stuck three squads got into the same CC with an Ork Mob, and I couldn't tell the difference between units for wound allocation. I transferred the concept to My RW for the same reason (they all look alike). Yes something as simple as Squad markings would help (I do that with my PA Units) but the quick color coded visual works much easier in the heat of battle.

:)

A family picture, awww

I pueriexdeus do swear to complete Ten Drop Pods on or before December 31st 2012. 650 Points

With the Holidays I think I'll take it easy this month.

You'll notice these are all aftermarket Drop Pods, a friend of mine made them for me. These Pods are specifically for my Deathwing Venerable Dreads and are always fielded as Lucius Pattern Dreadnought Drop Pods.

December PtR Vow Complete.

I was wrong there were not 10 drop Pods, but there are 11.

I originally was going to go with a monochrome black , but it seemed just too flat and lacking in visuals to me. Since I don't do Bone DW/Dreads (per-heresy black only) I could not justify solid bone color, but the two-tone black & bone does look fairly nice. I was attempting several Atmosphere re-entry techniques, they were an epic fail and I had to re-paint/paint over several attempts. This is what I ended up with.

January PtR WIP

Just returned from a business trip and am spending the day relaxing with some paint. Am kinda torn between the PeD Chapter Paldron (Eight Pointed Star) and the Studded Paldron with the DA Icon. What do you guys think?
