Olgerth Istaarn
Since the 6th dropped, my army has been doing more standing around and looking pretty than fighting, so I thought I'd take a few pictures. Here's the birds-eye view on the three shelves containing almost all the minis in my army. There are a few "reserve" minis I keep in the case for "count-as emergencies", and there is no room on the shelf for the Rhinos and my single Drop Pod. There's another shelf that is reserved for unpainted stuff, maybe I'll clear it someday and display my noble troop transports as well... Here is the HQ shelf. The girl in the back usually serves as an objective. http://i49.tinypic.com/349436b.jpg Here is my troops shelf. Six tactical squads and two assault squads. Four sarges have both arms magnetized, and two (the ones pointing) have magnetized Tartaros combi-weapons. All special weapons are also magnetized. http://i45.tinypic.com/2jflw5v.jpg Here is my heavy support shelf. Most of the devastators are magnetized, and the Storm Raven has the extend-a-raven Chapterhouse kit. http://i49.tinypic.com/311nsyc.jpg All building and conversions are exclusively mine. All painting, with some small exceptions, is commissioned. The red is actually a shade darker than what it appears, I took these on a lark and didn't set up proper lighting. I'll take some closeups if there is interest in particular models or squads. Raphiel
A great looking, unified army. I bet it looks just awesome on the battlefield. You can be proud of every single model. Are those converted jetbikes I see on the 3rd pic? I'd like to see a close-up of those!
