tagsta
hi folks, it's been a while since I posted anything. Real life was very time consuming so I didn't find time to post any pictures. However, this doesn't mean that I haven't been busy. Since the start of my Marines Malevolent Project a couple of years ago I have finished a complete battle company plus support elements. One rhino and one Assault Squad remains to be finished until I will be able to create a full army shot. I will use this thread to gradually showcase each squad of the whole company /edit: see fully army pic below: Marines Malevolent Strikeforce Demos(click for high Res picture) http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2013/1/16/453383_sm-Astorum%2C%20Forge%20World%2C%20Marines%20Malevolent%2C%20Reaver%2C%20Space%20Marines%2C%20Titan.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/MM-Map_zpsb89afff5.jpg Command Elements http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0005_zps3b2e705c.jpg Captain Tauron Demos http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0004_zpsf8469617.jpg Reclusiarch Uriel Grimnarch Will add static grass to the base later. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0002_zps68677c52.jpg Command Squad The Marines Malevolent Intervention Force is commanded by Captain Demos of the 5th company. Captain Demos is escorted by a command squad of five company veterans. These include first Sergeant Maximus, who is Demos’ closest advisor and often acts as his second-in-command. Honourable brother Anvilus is the Bearer of the Company Standard. Metallius Krux is the personal Bodyguard to Captain Demos [Comment: Krux holds a position similar to a Company Champion in other Astartes chapters]. Furthermore Junior Apothecary Ethan Matteo and Company Veteran Rankar Lactus accompany the squad. The Squad originally had blue glowing power weapons which I changed to blended real metallics. I will add a Crux Terminatus or similar bit to the banner top once I find an appropriate bit. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0007_zpsbc35fb81.jpg Command Razorback The heavily modified MKIIIb Razorback is used as Demos’ personal transport vehicle. The Vehicle is equipped with twin-linked Ironstorm Assault Cannons with an Anti-Aircraft sensoric device. Furthermore it has a Dozer Blade, which appears to be modified from a Vindicator Siege Tank and Cestus-Pattern Reinforced Armour. I will add heat effects to the assault cannon later. Tactical Squad 1 is next. What do you guys think? Thanks, Tagsta

Wicced
looking good brother :P though the yellow looks to clean in some places for my liking (but that's just my personal opinion) looking forward to more...

Hyaenidae
though the yellow looks to clean in some places for my liking (but that's just my personal opinion) I entirely take the blame for this, lol. Glad to see you're back to the best Chapter in existance, tagsta. Your army helped inspire mine, and I spent many a night staring at your mini's when I first started my army, deciding how I wanted to paint my Marines Malevolent up. Definetley looking forward to more, man! EDIT: On a side note, I got a feeling you and I are going to have some seriously conflicting homemade fluff, lol. tagsta
Tactical Elements http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0009_zps7f1866de.jpg Tactical Squad I - The Ironhearts. Led by Veteran Sergeant Corron Avitus The members of Tactical Squad I are equipped with a mix of well-maintained MK7 'Aquila' and MK8 'Errant' Armour. For the underequipped chapter it is a very uncommon sight to have such modern equipment in their armoury. It it unknown how the 5th company got a hold of such a large number of modern suits. Due to the increased protection the armour offers, Captain Demos' often deploys the squad at spearhead of assaults and on siege-, boarding- and tunnel fighting missions. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0004_zps1e907329.jpg Demi Squad Ia Note Techmarine Aspirant Adamantus Valar who forged the Combi-Flamer for the Sergeant and created a lot of field modifications for the Squad's equipment and their Rhino Transporter. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0006_zpsfe9f7a94.jpg Demi Squad Ib http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0002_zpscf3f0571.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Malevolent/DSCF0001_zps6fa7f99e.jpg Rhino I The Rhino 'Refutor' is equipped with field-modified Lucius pattern reinforced armour. tagsta
They look stunning mate, great job! thanks a lot mate, greatly appreciated! looking good brother though the yellow looks to clean in some places for my liking (but that's just my personal opinion) looking forward to more... thanks! there is other squads and vehicles that have more dirty yellow, do not worry ;) Excellent use of the Berzerker helmet for the chaplain! These all look really good! thanks a lot! I originally intended to use the helmet for a renegade brother however the skull mask just screamed "Chaplain" to me. Always loved the marines maleviolent, and you sir have done them justice amazing job! Thanks a lot sir! though the yellow looks to clean in some places for my liking (but that's just my personal opinion) I entirely take the blame for this, lol. Thanks a lot, that greatly honours me to be a source of inspiration, next to Desmodus' Marines Malevolent which was the only source in the web by the time I started my force. Considering the fluff thing: I greatly enjoyed reading your stuff, very nice personalized stories. I assume your fluff is inspired by the interpretation from the Salamander's Novels? Let me give you a bit more info on my approach: When I started the army, there was nothing about the Chapter except for the colour chart and a few lines in the Armageddon Campaign material that pretty much said the chapter consists of ruthless bastards . I was greatly inspired by the different variations in Squad Symbology/personal Heraldry and Codex Astartes Tactical Markings in Forgeworld's Imperial Armour books. Desmodus' had made some really wicked custom decals on his Marines Malevolent that reflected this so I mirrored the style a little bit. I wanted to have a battle company with very personalized Squads. A few years later I was very excited to find out that the Marines Malevolent are featured in Nick Kyme's novel. I got myself a copy of Salamander and I was disgusted how the chapter that I pictured relatively closely to a normal Codex Astartes Chapter was turned into some weird 30k and 40k hybrid that followed the Edict of Nikaea and other weird things. It didnt make sense in my opinion. I attempted to finish the book for the sake of finding out more about the MM, however the plot was so incredibly linear and boring that I just had to put away this piece of very untalented work (in my opinion). I will follow that the chapter is some kind of borderline renegade chapter that follows nothing but their own agenda but I would like to keep it more 40k rather than having such a large number of Pre-Heresy elements in it (also because I will start a Legion Project, right after I am finished with the remaining elements of my battle company)

Monstra Sumus
YES. That said, I really like the way your force blends.
