bjoluemblem
This came up in a tourney the other day. I had an Icarus lascannon behind an ADL, and Mordrak, his buddies, and a librarian deep struck right in front of it. The librarian fired warp rift, or whatever power is the template attack that forces an initiative check or an automatic penetrating check. My question is this-since the artillery piece has no initiative value, does it take a wound? Does it disappear entirely? It's rather unclear on this, so any help on ruling this would be great. Brother Casman
Since the artillery piece has an Initiative of '-' it will automatically fail Initiative checks (pg. 7) - therefore it will suffer a wound, I believe. Darkmagi
In this case the artillery would be removed from play just as if it were hit by jaws. the crew would get to make checks but the gun would go away Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/262449-initiative-values-and-artillery-pieces-dead-or-not/#findComment-3196986 Share on other sites
Brother Casman
Ah, yes - I misremembered what Warp Rift does. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/262449-initiative-values-and-artillery-pieces-dead-or-not/#findComment-3197033 Share on other sites
