ianj253
Hey all, So I think I'm going to use this thread as a painting blog. I got into the game right when 6th started and blood angels are my first army! I already have unpainted models piling up and I was hoping this thread might motivate me to keep on painting! As of now I'm not the greatest painter, but I'm hoping as I continue to paint I will continue to grow as a painter. Feel free to leave advice or tips if you feel like it! I'm currently working on painting 5 RAS. So far I've gotten them up to the red I want and painted black where necessary. These guys are still miles from completion but here's a few pictures. Hopefully tomorrow I can get a second highlight on them and maybe start painting some weapons. Feel free to leave advice or tips if you feel like it! http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n529/ianj253/BA1.jpg http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n529/ianj253/BA2.jpg http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n529/ianj253/BA3.jpghttp://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n529/ianj253/BA4.jpg
J!MM!L!C!OUS
Nice start dude, nice neat solid red. Before anyone else tells you though here's the golden advice given to all newbies - prep your moldels before you paint them: Scrape off the mold/flash lines with a blade!!! It really allows your models to go to the next level :) Good luck!

Father Mapple
Painting early and often is the best way to start.
