Angels of Redemption Test Model

Couldn't resist the temptation of the new Dark Vengeance set. I'm thinking I'll continue the half n half scheme across the whole army and position (i.e., a techmarine would be half red, half bone).

One issue I'm having. What color should I make the scrolls. Here I made them an off white, but not quite sure if I like it. Also, seeing the model this close and blown up I'm going to go back and try to soften some of the transitions.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to try and take my painting skills beyond my comfort zone, so if you can think of anything to try out that would help the model pop, please let me know!
