The Emperor's Champion
Wasn't there something in a HH novel basically stating that Magnus the Red can alter peoples perceptions of him to make him seem taller/shorter/older/younger or whatever? Magnus can change sizes, yes, but he's naturally a giant by default too. Red Scorpions
Angron doesn't need all that "fairy assed pant:cusstery" like the those "pretty marines". In all seriousness though doesnt Angron hate pskers? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/263454-angron-model/page/3/#findComment-3220994 Share on other sites

In all seriousness though doesnt Angron hate pskers? I thought Angron hated everybody. But yeah, I gotta agree, I thought he particularly hated Pskers. Personally I like the model. Love the pose. I'm trying to figure a way to work the model and the Betrayal Book into the budget. It won't be happening before the Holidays though. Corsair
Going from that picture on the cover, Angron does seem small compared to the Primarchs. And not just compared to Magnus, but the other Primarchs standing near him. And if you look at the John Blanche artwork, he does have a bit of a squat look to him. I always thought of him as the bulldog Primarch. Smaller than average, but more built. But then, that cover art showing Angron and Lorgar has Angron downright hulking over Lorgar, so who knows. Personally, I think it'd be awesome if Angron was the shortest outside of Alpharius/Omegon. Tiny little rage machine that will absolutely ruin your day. And it should be noted that Alpharius/Omegon weren't standard Marine size. In all discussions about their heights in the books, the taller than average Marines were close enough to Alpharius/Omegon's height to be seen as the same, but not exactly the same. Alpharius and Omegon were taller than their own tall Marines, just not by a noticeable bunch. So even though they were the shortest of the Primarchs, they were still bigger than big Marines. Has it not also been mentioned that Alpha Legionnaires tend to be at the large end of the marine size scale as well (further assisting with the Primarch blending), or did I imagine that? In all seriousness though doesnt Angron hate pskers? Pre-heresy, I feel Angron saw using librarians as simply not being part of, "our ways". He gives a similar explanation to Lorgar in Butcher's Nails in regards to the way his legion fights and acts. Of course anything that was not considered part of his traditions and methods, he despised by default. Two very specific Alpha Legionnaires were considered to big enough to double as Primarchs, but it specifies that the both of them are a tad abnormal in size.
