Dark Carnage
I am turning my marine chapter into traitors, and was wondering if I should keep using the marine codex or switch to the chaos codex?I was planing on just inserting chaos bits through the army that already exists and painting the eight pointed star over the chapter symbol and any other Imperial symbols to make it look like they are just in the process of changing to chaos.I will probably remodel my characters to make them look more chaotic because I figure they would be the first to start changing and leading the rest of the chapter to move in that direction.Any input would be apreciated. Kristoff
Well, the Chaos codex is newer, and has a lot of little tweaks available to it. But can you? Sure, there's no real rule against it. And considering they just turned to Chaos, it makes sense that they would be following their old ways with "new" equipment and haven't earned the Gods favors yet. Jiron
Well, what is your chapters motivation to this? Are they decided to seek immortality and bring Chaos to the mankind, summoning and worshipping daemons and entitites of the warp? Then use Chaos Codex. Are they falling from grace but still seek to protect the Emperors flock? Use SM Codex. Will you masterfully plan how to outmaneuver your opponent? SM Will you sacrifice some innocent people and ask Chaos Gods for power to crush your enemies under the iron heel of your boot?
