Tybrus
I was thinking about this, and I have always hated SW drop pod armies since the new dex took out tracking beckon and made it a beer frig. However, with the new rules for Allies I have a question. If I have a wolf army with 2 pods and my Allies have a 2 pod with tracker, Can I a) Drop one pod and then land the 2nd one from turn one next to it? Can I drop both the allies turn one and hold the wolves for turn 2? c) Lastly if B can I then use the bekons from the allies to land the 2 wolf pods? Khine
A) You can't do because the drop pods have to be down the previous turn in order for the locators to work. is fine. You are holding half of your 'armies' drop pods in reserve while dropping half of them down first turn. C) nowhere in any of the Faqs does it say that the locator beacons only work on their own codex's. So yes they should be allowed to use them.
