Messor
I've been mulling over this idea in my head for a while, about mini IA style articles about specific characters. Is there a "market" for something like that? Maybe along the lines of 'IA Supplements' detailing specific squads or companies. No problem if that sounds heretical, but either way I'd like help coming up with a suitable name for such a mini article/supplement. My High Gothic is rusty, as attested to by the above, but even that sounded better than 'Index Heroicus'. Not sure, really, I'm kinda tired, so I'll leave this for the worthy Liberites to mull over. How do the Imperium's Codiciers catalogue our heroes? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/263710-how-does-index-legendus-sound/ Share on other sites
Erasmus of Baal
If appropriate, they can go in the IA. Otherwise, I don't think anyone would complain if you posted your Chapter's characters' short stories separately in the Liber (preferably with a link to the IA) for C&C, discussion, enjoyment, etc. At the very least, I would rather enjoy that. Blackrat
How does it sound? Bad. As in bad even for the pseudolatin of 40k. How about Index Illustrium, which would translate somewhat like Index of the Famous. Other variant, Index Augustorum (venerable/honorable) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/263710-how-does-index-legendus-sound/#findComment-3215682 Share on other sites

I can't stand 'high gothic', but I didn't think it would be that hard to butcher words to suit my needs. :) Since 'August' has the most direct latin link, it probably deserves to be the winner. Thanks for that Blackrat. Now I need to flesh out a character or two for Index Augustorum treatment. Blackrat
No prob. The thing is, it's been so long since I've actually studied grammar, that I'm not sure of the case that word should be. It could be better as Augusti, but I'm simply not sure... So whichever sounds better to you I guess :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/263710-how-does-index-legendus-sound/#findComment-3215755 Share on other sites
