RowRow's Wonderful Purple Marines.

So I've finally gotten round to making a WIP for my marines, I'm running a tale of Lots of Gamers type of event with some guys I know here in Dundee, so I finally have the motivation to get painting. This'll probably be slow going, I need 400pts for December so here's my first block, some Sternguard, then after this I've got some Tactical Marines and transports in the works, here goes.

Been rather slow going, but I'm trying to speed up my painting process. Here's what I've done since I last posted, sorry for the massive load of pictures.

First, my Librarian, which is an old one stripped of paint after the new finecast one I bought had its sword break off. 

 

Secondly, tactical squad, the first of fourth company.

 

And their Rhino, the chip on the exhaust block has since been covered.

 

 

I've also finished off a scout sniper squad and a Landspeeder in addition to a Razorback for the Sternguard.

 

 

And finally a picture of my second tactical squad, who all going right should be together and painted in the next week or two.

 

 

 

Cheers for your patience in looking through these pictures, any advice, questions or ideas are really welcome. I have another 50 or so marines in pieces in boxes similar to the one above, so the plan is to slowly work my way through the 4th company and anyone else the may have with them. As I say, next on the list is a tactical squad and a 5 man bike quad with meltas. Additionally I'll be trying to make this more of a WIP, so expect in progress shots of these soonish, strike while the iron is hot and all that.
