My New Army "Howling Griffons"

This is easily the most dedicated blog I have seen. Doing a single character in that scheme would do my head in let alone an entire army!!!

My only small crit if anything is that I don't think your bases are doing your minis justice at the moment, just look a little flat compared to ll the beautiful shading you have on the marines?

Alright, ill admit it. I get lazy with the bases. But need some ideas. Remember I am a visual kind of Guy.

Check out Bevulf's bases. he has an awesome chaos thread in this wip section. His basing tutorial(which is awesome, BTW), is on this thread as well. really cool ruins/battlefield look. I think they would really make this beautiful army over the top........

Always been a massive fan of the Howling Griffons and have to say I think you are one of the few people that I have seen that can truly do them justice. Superb colouring and the over all look and feel of the army so far is simply amazing.

Fantastic work! thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the breakdown on your colour recipies, by the way! If you ever have the time and inclination to snap some step by step WIP shots they'd be really interesting to see.

Also that glaze medium looks extremely useful, I'll have to see if I can get hold of some of that.
