Enjoy - Scout Sarge Tactical Marine While I know that new inductees replace their LEFT hand with a bionic, I'm replacing RIGHT hands on my scouts. Right hands are so much easier to replace model wise :lol: I have four sniper rifles lined up for my scouts. Here is an example- Bionics courtesy of Maxmini. I wasn't convinced by those bionic bits when I saw pics before but look good in yours, have you looked into anvil industries for bionics? BassWave Posted October 25, 2012 Author Share Posted October 25, 2012 Yeah, I was a bit sceptical on max mini's bionics at first as well. However I had seen the work Doberman did with his IH, and those looked pretty good so I tried them out myself. Its very good quality stuff and easy to work with. Even experimented on a snap fit marine and found that the legs work great with them too. Â Haven't tried anvil industries yet, but I plan on it, especially their bionic veteran heads. Its been primed and its awaiting real paint lol. I'll post pics tomorrow. However! I did get some paint on a couple dudes. Here's one i'm calling done. (apologies for the picture quality)- AND I found the upcoming gem on ebay. Been painting him for a while. Presenting our Primarch, Ferrus Manus! Still working on him. BassWave Posted November 18, 2012 Author Share Posted November 18, 2012 Presenting the Medusa pattern Storm Talon nearing completion- I simply cut and filed down the struts that the rocket pods sit on so they sit neatly against the hull. Also cut the tail piece in half (the piece that forms the "y" shape) and glued them to the side of the tail. Finally, I carved out the turret mount so that the cannon will fit nearly under the nose. The end result is a sleeker look :D In honor of the death watch campaign i'm joining, I built my character. Still not finished, but you get the idea. I've also just joined a deathwatch campaign, brilliant fun! Magnetized the backpacks so that I can eventually give them servo arm backpacks. It was my first time using green stuff to make the bolter straps. Without further ado- That one with the communications array is my counts as banner bearer. Champion with relic blade. I also finished my stormtalon and I am working on the second one.
