I almost felt bad when....

My Long Fangs trashed a wave serpent and I couldn't be bothered to shift any troops to deal with the contents. So, I just sent in the Fenrisian Wolves....which om nom nomed every single last guardian that didn't die in the original explosion. I wonder how many spirit stones the eldar managed to dig out of the piles of wolf poop they left behind?? <_<

In a simple pick-up game at the LFGS, I ended up facing the current undefeated league champion and his IG veteran/valk/vendetta spam list.

In the first game he conceded at the end of his turn in turn 2 due to losing the vast majority of his flyers to Tempest Wrath, Living Lightning, and 5 missile launchers. Second game, he made it to turn 4 before conceding due to same reasons. Granted this was 5th edition, but it felt good to counter a hard alpha strike list not once, but twice in a row.

My feel bad moment was in a pick up game versus an Eldar friend of mine who has never been able to beat me. At the beginning of the 5th turn, he had one objective in my deployment zone and one in his deployment zone. In his shooting phase he caused my wolf guard to fall back. I fell back and rallied at the bottom of the fifth. The fall back, consolidation and charge allowed me to charge that squad, kill them, and draw the game. ATSKNF for the win!
Got charged by 'Ard boyz, Nob bikers and a warboss, who challenged my wolf lord. Wolf Lord wins the challenge. Each unit was barely below the threshold for fearless. fails both leaderships, uses bosspoles, fails both rerolls. Wolf Lord sweeps both squads and consolidates into the enemy deployment zone for the linebreaker.

Nice

My personal fav is when I had an allies guard blob eat a 10 man death company squad with Chaplin over three turns. After the combat my commissar lord let out a burp. :o

Sounds like if that Lord doesn't already have it, he just earned himself Saga of the Warrior Born.

I haven't played since about when 4e came out. It's been ages and I didn't really know the rules. I asked guy at local club to teach me how to play. We were tallying up points at the end of the game:

Him: "You got 11 points for wiping out these squads. Did I fully destroy any of your squads?"

Me: "Ummmm...." *hunts around desperately for SOMETHING "No, I don't think so eh?"

Him: "Oh right... so it's 11 nil then."

Me: "Ok, good game!"

Him: "Oh wait, I get one point because I have a unit in your deployment zone... oh actually, no I don't because that unit is falling back."

Me: "I've got one in yours..."

Him: "Twelve nil."

Feel Bad moment, definitly when a 5 Thunder Wolves plus a Lord on THunder Wolf chewed through 7 Valk's/Ved's in a practice game for a tournament by turn 3. Turned around & did the same thing the next game by turn 4 as he wanted a rematch. That was in 5 Ed.

Mine was a 5th edition game, I was having a "paintball" game with another SW player. The game was going pretty well for me, so I charged a solo Logan Grimnar with my 2 remaining WG terminators (WC/WC and TH/SS) to see what would happen.

Logan ended up doing 3 wounds, 2 of which brought down the WC and the 3rd was saved by the SS. He swung back with his thunderhammer, 3 hits, 3 wounds and 3 failed invulnerable saves later there was no more Logan. He now wears the axe of Morkai on his back as a trophy.

Cheers.

This was all in 5th (playing first games of 6th this weekend)

Having a squad of fenrisian wolves led by a wolf lord on TW take out 3 squads of deathwing terminators in three turns without taking a single wound.

In our last apocalypse game I had two lone wolves (one TDA, CF, SS, the other PA, MotW) take out a squad of plague marines, a whole squad of Choas Termies (Plus the a Choas Lord), two obliterators, and some chaos marines, the wulfen bought it but the TDA lone wolf was still standing (damn it!) - admittedly the choas lord basically killed himself with his daemon weapon, but was still epic.

Almost as epic as the wolf priest leading skyclaws who on the other side of the board held an objective against 4x 30 boy mob squads - By the end of the game, only the wolf priest was left standing, with 1 wound, against about 8 boys and the last nob, and he made about 5 2+ saves and both invunerable saves against the nobs power claw to end up contesting the objective still ;)
