Pingo's painted models

Hi everyone!

It's been a long time indeed since I posted any pictures of my models online, so figured it was about time I changed that!

I hope to update this thread with more pictures periodically, but to kick things off, here's a picture of my Ultramarines Terminator Librarian.

Hope you enjoy, and please feel free to leave any comments or questions: I'll answer all I can.

More pictures are available on my blog here.

Thanks for looking!

I'll be following your projects as I do like your painting style and I do like Space Wolves. What more could I ask for?

About the Librarian above, I find that there is a bit too much colour with all of the cables and such on him but otherwise, he looks great :)

No good Teminator Librarian should be without a bodyguard. I find these guys complement him quite nicely:

Hope you enjoy these guys. Load of fun to paint! As normal, more photos appear on my blog here.

Command Squad!

Also, amazing work.

Thanks; I'll post those up soon. I want to re-take the photos as I got a light tent to improve the lighting.

Speaking of which, I tried the light tent out by photographing my Calgar mini. Lots of photos on my blog here.

Otherwise, here's a pict-capture:

Thanks plasman. I used the same technique, but not quite as well, on my Command Squad ... speaking of which ...

I posted about these guys on my blog.

Great work. Love each of the five squad members.

Standard bearer seems a bit taken with his ability to pose dramatically though. He's probably one of those guys who talks about himself in a loud voice all the time. Since he's a great model and he has a powerfist, I say let him.

Thanks for the kind comments! Ludovic, you have a keen eye for bitz

The SH terminators look great in blue, too; de-angeling them must have been a tough job though.

It wasn't always as bad as I feared it would be. A nice sharp blade can shave most of the BA icons off quite well, and glueing other icons on to of things often helps. As long as the blood drops are kept to a minimum, the blue and 'U' symbols are enough to convince someone they are Ultramarines. In fact, some small blood drops can be painted to look like regular gemstones.

I fancied posting up another little update this evening: my humble version of the absolutely wonderful Terminator Chaplain model:

I blogged about him. As usual

Thanks for the kind comments! Ludovic, you have a keen eye for bitz :)

I like challenges :P

Lovely Chaplain, he's one of the first models I tried to paint to a "high" standard ad I was very happy with him back then. You've done a grand job! :tu:
