dizzy-xc
Had a Helldrake repeatedly be taken over and used to Dakka my troops whenever I failed my Deny the Wytch roll. I just find it odd that this particular psychic power can target these type daemon engines. I read where the target is considered a unit or model... I cant find any defense of whether vehicles were exempted or get a special save or whatnot. Did we play it correctly? SeattleDV8
You did. This BRB FAQ shows that vehicles may be effected Q: Does the Puppet Master power allow the controlling psyker to‘pivot’ an enemy Walker in order to select a target not currently in its fire arc? (p423) A: Yes, but the model is assumed to return to its original facing when it reverts back to the owning player’s control. dizzy-xc
Cannot believe I missed that! Thanks SeattleDV8. So I guess returns to owning players control prevents shots to the rear while they are taking control. Cool. Still sucks really bad, lol. But fits fluff. Im reminded of what happened in the Maglev tunnel on Mars in Mechanicum. dizzy-xc
Oh... oops! He never rolled to hit... Just to pass the test and for me to deny the witch. Guess we did do it wrong after all. Thanks! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/264490-puppet-master-focused-wytchfire/#findComment-3223130 Share on other sites
pyroknight
focused witchfires must roll to hit, and need a 6 to hit flyers. (unless the model somehow is granted skyfire.)
