I'm currently looking for cool shoulder pads to have as my homemade chapter's chapter symbol (meaning, looking for right shoulder pads with cool markings on them!). So far I've looked at Puppetswar (http://puppetswar.com/) and they got some amazingly well done shoulder pads. However, they are mostly Egyptian/Chaos themed, which is not really my style. I did buy some bull shoulder pads, but, while really well made, they didn't really fit the feel of the chapter (also, I've never really liked how bulls like. ;)). I checked Scibor and they have some really awesome stuff there (skulls, archs, angels) but from what I gather, they only do Terminator based shoulder pads? A shame! Anyone got any suggestions where I can get some awesome looking shoulder pads, or perhaps I am wrong and Scibor actually make Power amroured shoulder pads (Just found something called SF Roman Legionary Small Shoulder Pads. Actually, there's quite a few shoulder pads with the name "small" in the in Scibor's shop since last I looked. Anyone know if these will fit well with Power armour? The measurements -seem- to be alright)? Thanks! Fibonacci Posted October 30, 2012 Share Posted October 30, 2012 Have you looked at Games Workshop? They have a few shoulder pad sets for lesser known chapters you might like. Just look under the space marine bitz and see if you find something you like. All you need is a new color scheme to make them unique. The scibor pads run a little large. Their small will work with power armor but would look best on characters. Most of their conversion parts are way thick which gives them a bulky look which can be good or bad depending on what look you are going for. lhg033 Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 the old Gw metal pads are ok but a little smaller than current GW plastics. the fit on the arm fine - its more the trim size and overal bulk thats smaller. forgeworld have some PA ones as well as termiantor ones - all known/IA chapters but you might be able to customise them a bit?
