No Foes Remain
Greetings fellow Unforgiven, A few months back, after Dark Vengence came out, I ordered a load of Dark Angels sets to build a small force but it grew slightly larger as I 'acquired' (read: stole) other models from my unpainted C:SM force to build up my force and its now just under 3,500 points. I kinda have a small background for them but never settled on a scheme and have gone through about three schemes before I settled on the current shceme which I painted up over the previous two pages. Heres the scheme via the two SM painters: And heres my first model, Brother Thorus of the Hunters of Caliban 3rd Strike Force 2nd squad feel free to comment on it: I probably spent a few hours on it but just painted one bit, then left and came back to it later. He is slightly darker in real life but on the scan option on my camera which is the only option that allows me to take decent pics of models that are in focus and it won't let me turn of the flash. Here are some other pics of him: Quite proud of him and named him 'cos hes my first painted model of this force and it seemed like he should have a name. And heres the rest of my force: The rest of 2nd Squad on my painting table 1st Squad 3rd Squad 4th Squad Demi-Dev Squad DV Termie Squad and DV Limited Eddition Chaplain One Company Master and a Veteran Squad DV Company Master, DV Librarian and Command Squad Dreadnought Ravenwing Attack Squadron One Ravenwign Attack Squadron Two And my Land Raider Am going to try to paint these guys when I'm not working and doing my Sons of Horus short story for the Tale of Twenty Writers, and playing random games on steam. Thanks for looking comments and criticism are welcome. /Ventris out. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/264710-hunters-of-caliban/ Share on other sites
Guest
Liking the colour scheme very much :). I have a few suggestions (if you don't mind) is to do the Soft Armour parts helps break up the colour. and maybe a thin hi-light of light grey on some armour edges ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/264710-hunters-of-caliban/#findComment-3225415 Share on other sites
No Foes Remain
I'll have a look into that and have a few tests of Thorus to see what colour would fit it, thanks. BTW I like the scheme to your Chapter as well. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/264710-hunters-of-caliban/#findComment-3225423 Share on other sites
