L30n1d4s
I am not sure if I have read this correctly, but looking at the wording of Mrodrak's "First to the Fray" rule (pg 40 of C:GK), it appears that if Mordrak was in a Storm Raven Gunship, then that Storm Raven would be able to DS on the first turn without scattering. I know this is semantics (like a lot of the rules), but when it says "If he deploys via Deep Strike" I am taking that to mean "if he chooses to use a method of entering the battle that is considered deep striking." Since riding in a storm raven that deepstrikes to enter the games is, in my understanding, a method of "deploying via Deep Strike," I think this may be legal. If this is legal, then I am looking at trying out putting Mordrak in a Storm Raven with a MM Dread and dropping them precisely where they can blow up enemy armor and threaten a critical unit with a charge next turn. Gentlemanloser
I made this topic way back when. :D IIRC, the long ans short of it is that it's the SR deep Striking, not Mordrak, so you can't use his FTTF rule. Either that, or the SR didn't count as being his unit. Something like that. Either way, no first turn SR Deep Striking withot scatter. Which would be awesome these days, with the SR having to come in turn 2+ as a flyer. Reclusiarch Darius
Sadly, because GW don't understand how their own rules work, combos like that aren't possible. Also, Mordrak is one of our silly 'not an IC' characters. He belongs on the shelf, along with Crowe.
