Res Ipsa Loquitur
Comments and criticism, please. I'm personally not sure about the choice of head. Thought it would look great but in practice I think it looks 'off'. Also considering swapping to a pair of running legs. http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb368/res_ipsa1/P1120544.jpg http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb368/res_ipsa1/P1120545.jpg http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb368/res_ipsa1/P1120547.jpg http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb368/res_ipsa1/P1120549.jpg PS. I know, mold lines; mold lines everywhere. They will be attended to, this is just a dry-fit. Dragonkin Arenis
I like the choice of head, personally - I'm not sure why, though. If you're considering going for a set of running legs, I'd either consider turning the sword arm 90 degrees so he's going for a slashing/relaxed pose before a charge. Either that or this lovely pose (from DaemonPrinceDargor's lovely Pre Heresy Emperor's Children) : http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/2134/demetrius1ny0.jpghttp://img295.imageshack.us/img295/8115/demetrius3dc8.jpg http://img355.imageshack.us/img355/8751/demetrius4dx8.jpg Either way, it's ultimately up to you, but I hope my two penneth have helped :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/264813-castigon-lord-adjudicator/#findComment-3226782 Share on other sites
Wicced
I also like the head and i second the running legs, together with the head both turned in the direction of the sword arm would look ace imho. irwit
Looks cool but I think the pose does look a little like he is directing traffic. Res Ipsa Loquitur
I'm working from home today so obviously I've spent most of the morning not doing any work :) Spent some time farting around with the posing and trying some different heads and came up with this; http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb368/res_ipsa1/P1120550.jpg http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb368/res_ipsa1/P1120552.jpg http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb368/res_ipsa1/P1120553.jpg I've decided to stick with the 'Tactical' legs. I tried using 'Assault' legs but since his Honour Guard have already been built with Tactical legs ol' Cap'n looked out of place. What do we think? Montuhotep
This works better, actually, as far as heads go. And the pose is more correct for a commander figure anyway. "See that? Where I'm pointing? Yeah? Right. Go over there and belt it one."
