Mogsam
Since Vulkan was black and made all of his legion members have the same dark skin does it apply across the board? Lorgar was supposed to be golden tinged rather than white or black - were the Word Bearers slightly tinged gold as well or just Lorgar? Elias
I remember that Lorgar has golden tattoos, not skin. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/264973-bearers-of-the-word/#findComment-3229144 Share on other sites
Mogsam
"Upon returning to his personal Battleship, the Fidelitas Lex, after the terrible rebuke on Khur, the Primarch retreated into his shipboard quarters for a month and refused to speak to anyone, except Kor Phaeron and the Legion's First Chaplain Erebus. Lorgar mourned the Emperor's command for a month. Removing his Power Armour, he wore nothing but sackcloth, his golden skin smeared with the dust from Monarchia's surface over his features with each new day. His kohl-ringed eyes were darkened further by exhaustion and narrowed by the burden of shame." Whilst I'm quoting the warhammer version of wikipedia I remember him having literal golden skin from somewhere. Did they change it in the HH novels from the IA articles? Olis
Afaik the golden skin thing was either painted or tattooed on. As for Vulkan and his 'sons' all being of dark skin - I would presume they all exhibited the same skin (depending on UV in the environment iirc) unless one had a malfunctioning melanchromic organ. DarKnight
Tattoo's a gold leaf my friend. Also the radiation of Nocturne makes the Salamanders skin and eyes mutate.
