Eikrem
It has been a while since I have posted anything on here, but here is the Helbrute I have just finished for my Emperor's Children: Couple more pictures on my blog Travelling the Immaterium
chaplainmikey
I like it, alot! :D Your pink is the perfect Shade for EC and the black and gold compliment it well. I really like his face too. Any chance of a quick rundown of how you painted it. Will we be seeing anymore of your Emperor's Children?? Mike.
Firepower
Deploy him with a slow, ominous war drum beat that climaxes in a roar of "Unleash Pinky!" You will win by default. Very nice work, though the gold seems a bit flat in some spots. The claw in particular seems to be missing a lot of depth.
heralds of excess
SLAANESH DEMANDS MORE! Really liking the colours you've used, keep up the good work!
Talhydras
Aside from the fact that I don't like the pose of that model (somehow this guy screams "bowling!" to me), your paintjob certainly does the Emperor's Children justice! One thing though, I would've painted the "flesh" in a different color than the armor parts to make it stand out a little more. A light grey or so... Otherwise, great work! Eikrem
Thanks for the replies guys! For chaplainmikey - brief run down is the face was first painted with Ungor Flesh, washed with Carroburg Crimson and then highlighted with Screaming Skull. I then painted the tongue, teeth and eyes with chaos black. Hopefully I will have more of these Emperor's Children in the future.
smallvictory
It's so pink! I like that you used different shades of pink for the armor and the fleshy parts. Nice job mixing in the black armor plates to mix it up too.
