Shuggnuggath
A friend of mine really wants to play some Horus Heresy games. Since I'm finding it a bit tight on the wallet at the moment I don't really think I can afford to spend a lot on Forge World. I figured I might have a go at converting Dark Vengeance marines into Heresy period armour marks. I scraped away knee pads, arm grieves and the face mask. I sculpted new ones with greenstuff and then painted them up in what I gather is the heresy period Dark Angel scheme. So without further ado here is my test model. Not the best photos but should convey the general idea.

Olis
The highlights are a little sharp, but that must just be the flash amplifying them. Nice backpack conversion. :tu:
death given form
Very nice conversion! I wouldn't mind seeing some WIP shots, that's a very nice line-marine conversion. :P
Shuggnuggath
Thanks guys. As I was saying not the greatest photos. I don't really have a decent photography set up yet. I saw a really nice tutorial for doing Marks 2 and 4 in the Works in Progress section a week or so ago. I basically applied the same principal to the Dark Vengeance marines. I will try adding some more photos soon.
