BlacKnight
I was listening to a podcast the other day and they were saying how good the Heldrake can be because you can Vector Strike and then use the baleflamer, essentially allowing it to hunt tanks/vehicles with the vector strike and then target infantry during the shooting phase. This sounds SO much better than running around trying to use the Hades Autocannon to target flyers. So, is this actually legit? Can you vector strike during the movement phase with the Heldrake and then use the baleflamer during the shooting phase? Grey Mage
According to Vector strike- pg 43, right hand column- its certainly possible. There are some restrictions, but it does explicitly state you can fire at a different target to what you vector struck. angry man
if you werent able to target different units, then you would never be able to use both the vector strike and the gun of choice in the same player turn AM Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/265495-heldrake-vector-strike-and-baleflamer/#findComment-3235154 Share on other sites
