Brother Chaplain Ryld
Hi all, I have been the lucky recipient of some older metal GK models. I have 10 Terminators with 1 incinerator and 1 psycannon, 20 PA GK with 2 incinerators and 2 psycannons, corteaz, stern, a dread w/ TLLC & PF, 4 DCA, 2 assassins ( eversor and a culexus) a malleus inquisitor and around a dozen henchmen of various flavours. The terminators have a mix of 5 halberds and 5 swords and the PA knights have 2 swords and 14 halberds. I'm looking at adding a storm raven and swapping out a few of the swords and halberds for a hammer in each squad and maybe a warding stave here and there. Is this a step in the right direction? I'm not looking to expand the army too much, I already have a load of Black Templars, so not looking to add in any land raiders or rhino's. I can use these as counts as in my group. Is there anything I can add to the units to 'tweak' them a little? Thanks heaps. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/265512-new-to-grey-knights/ Share on other sites
spartan249
I'd flesh out the henchmen and acquire some more PAGKs and fliers. With that, you can run a pretty good list in most cases. Gentlemanloser
Drop the two Assassins, don't really worry about Warding Staves, and shelve Stern. If you're not thinking of any transports then go TDA heavy. Apart form that, it sounds all good! :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/265512-new-to-grey-knights/#findComment-3235158 Share on other sites
Brother Chaplain Ryld
and shelve Stern. Haha, I had forgotten to mention that I was going to run him as a Grand Master. Have borrowed a codex until I can get my own, and his rules just don't appeal to me. So, TDA heavy? A squad of Paladins or another 5 Terminators? I'd flesh out the henchmen and acquire some more PAGKs and fliers. With that, you can run a pretty good list in most cases. So, another squad? 3 squads of 10 should see it right? Thanks for the comments guys. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/265512-new-to-grey-knights/#findComment-3235288 Share on other sites
