I think the round disk in between the wings could use some iconography and of course whoever is holding it needs some serious anti chaos attitude to back up your smack. Good tabletop quality tho. The eagle topper will get the globe painted in the disk with a golden eagle in it. as far as the carrier, haven't even made him yet... I'd say it's a bit more than "Good tabletop quality", more like pretty damn nice freehand, presenting Chaos with a word (Hint - It's the bird :geek: ) The circle in between the wings is depicted with the Earth from what I can see, but it could probably stand to be a bit brighter - (having just read your reply, totally wrong :) ). Lets be honest, he asked for C&C, I gave it. Bottom line is that as is without his final touches he's adding I'd have already thrown it on the battlefield. I did say it was 'Good' table top quality. When finished, I'm sure it will be even better. I do agree with your criticism that he has good freehand. I like the stars especially. This is what we do in the WIP section... share ideas to end up with the best. @LGoJ: I'd magnetize the banner so you can go artificer to power armor and back. He was the one that had the really ugly skull helmet with the fangs. I had one lying around so I decided to put that crozius to good work. Not sure what'll happen to the rest of him... :P if I can find a picture ill post it Edit: FOUND ONE! I realized that the I am missing a part that will be essential for the Chaplain so he is on the back burner for now. AS for the osl it sa technique I have to admit Ive never tried but I think it may be a little heavy around the eyes/face. Looks to me like one of the heads from the chaos terminator lord box, which has had its rebreather modified with greenstuff, and had some greenstuff hair added. I was doing molds for one of the severin loth helmets so that I could have more of em and realized that rubber molds make fantastic press molds for green stuff. I then saw the half helmeted head that forge world makes for the pre heresy tank commanders and you can fit the rest together. ;) @ Cold Winter: I did that by slowly layering dark blue up to white/blue. I then took some almost white and made a wash out of it and washed it to make it blend a little. Do you guys think it would be over doing it to make the ax glow as well? (assuming of course they are the light source) I think the ax glowing as well may be a little too much unless you tone down the existing osl a little so it isnt as severe. Between Work, Sea Scouts, and Family I haven't really had a whole lot of time to put into this army.
