If so how do you see the lascannon model vs the autocannon model? The lascannon vs auto canon comes in at what, 165 vs 135. And your only allowed to take one. I can see why youd go laser, but unless your fighting blood angels/ grey knights do you really need strength 9? Ps paint up those models man! The heldrake is scary, and simply glancing it to death isn't easy. The TLLC version adds reliability to knocking those things out of the sky. I also like it against necron-air, because you're putting a hurt on a flyer every turn. BTW, the TLLC version is only 155pts :) Also, I'm not sure of the 0-1 restriction anymore, since the 1.3 update doesn't mention it. Can't wait to see it painted DM! I use a TLLC Mortis in my army at my local shop and it's pretty much the superstar of my 6th edition list. I bought the parts for it back in 4th edition just to have a cool, fluffy, DA-unique model to set me apart from Codex marines. Suddenly in 6th it has Skyfire and has been pretty instrumental in any victories I've earned. Just point in fact: I'm pretty sure you can't buy the Venerable upgrade for Mortis dreads, since it's not in their options from IA2, or the update thereof. Still, regardless of whether or not the model has the rule, it is a really nice-looking dread. I like the use of the ravenwing hanging banner on the left arm. White bone, I know using IA2 I don't get the venerable upgrade but prefer the look and it fits better with my Deathwing army. I considered the TLAC option but with Skyfire and interceptor you don't need to fire tons of shots on the air and I like overkill lol. Plus if there are no flyers in range he can go tank busting :P. If you can, have the dread looking to it's left when you're done, so with the way the banner is hanging it looks like he just suddenly pivoted. I did have to go double check though after it was questioned lol I'm using the TLAC though personally, 2 or 3 per list. At 125points a piece you can't go wrong!
