Anyone airbrushed with the new Citadel paints?

Just thin them the way you would any normal paint, the Base paints moreso, as they are concentrated.

The Base, Layers and Glazes all airbrush through my .35mil nozzle fine.

+EDIT+ Bah - my airbrush is .35 mil...3.5 mils is the size of a flamethrower!

Placed this in another thread aswell:

IT depends mostly which color you use and what the pigmentation is, also if your using the old paints or the new ones.

I have tried using them with a 0.3mm nozzle , but only the inks/washes work , the normal paints tend to clog up the nozzle, which might be because they dry to fast.

I find Vallejo paints -both the model as the air color- better for airbrushing.

Thanks for your replies.

Comparing the widely used paint brands such as Vallejo Model, Vallejo Game, P3, or the new Citadel paints used for 40K minis. Of those I listed, is any brand easier to use in an airbrush?

Of course, excluding those paints that are designed for airbrush such as Vallejo Air.

I've used the new citadel paints and Vallejo Model colour paints, i thin both 1:1 using water/matt medium mix however judging from recent experience i'll only be using the Vallejo paints in the future. The dropper bottles make it easy to measure paint for mixing as well as the fact you get almost 1/3 more paint in a vallejo pot than you do Citadel.
