Brother Jorel Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 Brothers, over the weekend I finally got around to putting together my sanguinary priest and will be painting it this coming weekend. I have always been a fan of both the Blood Angels and Flesh Tearers and cannot decide for the life of me what colours I should paint him in but i have some great ideas either way. I love the traditional BA colors (and mostly have them on my army, though I've diverged from standard Blood Angels Red pretty significantly), but its always cool to see nice Flesh Tearers minis. How about this: Take the standard color scheme for a Blood Angels Sanguinary Priest, then modify it as though he were also a Chapter Veteran or perhaps even a Sanguinary Guardsman, with gold flashing across his armor. I don't think it would fit the dark and sinister style of the flesh tearers. Therefore I would go for a traditional scheme. But that's just my humble opinion. Looking forward to see him painted. If you don't mig painting "outside the box" I would suggest white armour, white wings with red and gold details.
