FallenArtist
Sooo i am going to convert the old daemon prince that can bought in finecast from GW, to give him something similar to old style(cataphrac) termie armor. My sculpting skills are not that good but i think i will be able to sculpt the torso and back pretty easy. The only problem is i have heard the model is pretty large any idea what i could use that would be big enough for cataohrac shoulder pads? I have heard dreadnought leg armor but i wanted to know if the maxmini are big enough. Help would be great ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/265763-shoulder-pads-for-daemon-prince/ Share on other sites
Lay
The "Inquisitor Tyrus" model from the old Inquisitor game might fit. http://wh40k.lexicanum.de/wiki/Datei:DAEMO...MBAU_AUF_TY.GIF http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.c..._54mm_Tyrus.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/265763-shoulder-pads-for-daemon-prince/#findComment-3237458 Share on other sites

Xenith
If you can sculpt the torso and back, you can sculpt the arms and legs pretty easily too. Id be wary of buying an expensive model, just to entirely cover it in sculpting media. The Daemons prince has thinner, organic legs, as the power armour has become his flesh. You'll need to at least double the thickness to get Cataphract termie armour, and sculpt new upper arm armour on both arms. FallenArtist
Are defiler leg pads to big to be used as shoulder guards? I have a feeling dreadnought may be to small!
