Typhus and "bikers" themed army WIP

Here are some shots of my WIP Chaos army. It is a list themed around Typhus and zombies as well as Nurgle Bikers. The Nurgle bikers are being being represented by Chaos Knights converted for 40k. I know what you're thinking, horses in space, but it was something I just wanted to do for no other reason than I thought I could do it well.

I like the GW Typhus model well enough but I wanted to convert up my own using the picture from the new book as inspiration.

Also an Obliterator I'm converting up since my list has 4 but only 3 come in the box.

Holy papa nurgle! Those models are amazing! I'm seriously jealous of your skills.

How many points you have? what list or only for display? When will we see some painted? Can we have some more pics of the cultists/zombies?

Sooo many questions, sorry lol.

They are amazing, I love the details on the riders/horses, esp the wires coming out of mutated areas. Also loving the barbed wire on the zombie model, very nice touch! Looking forward to more

Thanks for such a concise reply. The list seems fun, and very much plays to the theme of hordes of ZOMBIES!!!

I'm loving the zombies, truly epic stuff, the exposed brain, and the other with the ribs showing are amazing. I'm also loving the idea of modelling maggots on them, consider that idea stolen for my MoN culitists! (well once I have some greenstuff rather than crappy milliput). Looking forward to updates!

Moar zombies and moar shoulder pads.

Any one have any zombie ideas? I'm taking requests.

Typhus shoulder pad.

Obliterator shoulders. I'm loving this guy so much. He's coming out better than Typhus, which might be a problem.

Also, why not, a shot of the whole army minus Spawn.

looking pretty nice, though I can't help but think that Typhus' head looks a bit too big for his body.

Right, zombie ideas, one with his severed arm as a weapon, one just the top half crawling forwards, one with his head almost chopped off and hanging down his back and one with a huge hole through him (so you can see his ribs and stuff).

keep up the good work, also liking your obliterator, though I'm not usually a fan of overkill on the weapons like that, it works for your one :tu:

Zombie update.

Here is a few more of the poor DV cultists. This poor guy lost his hands in the conversion.

This guy, while still a WIP, lost his legs.

And this guy, well he won't have much luck keeping food down.

Your sculpting is unreal! How do you manage to get surfaces so smooth?!

Well it's all about the right tools. A few nice dental tools and these bad boys...

you sir are a man of great works... If you painting is half as good as your GS abilities I may have to make a sacrifice or two in your name to tempt you into a tutorial or or two on how you went about some of those zombies...if sacrifices are your thing...if not I can find something else:).

Thanks for the replies. I suppose I'm alright at painting. I've been planning on doing some tutorial work for my local club, I'll definitely post the links to videos here as well. I suppose I can give you a sneak peak at some of my painting. Avert your eyes if you are offended by imperial armies.

Well I finished converting the zombies today, 43 of them. I still need a few more but planning on using a few of my 10 plaguebearers in the mean time.

Alright, been a little over a week since I've had an update, but I got a little work done on the spawn over the last couple of days. There is something seriously wrong with me.

I knew that extra trollblood mauler arm would come in handy.
