Rakarsis
Last week I started putting together the first test models for my Death Guard army. Comments and criticism welcome! A few items I have planned: Airbrush blue/white for plasma and power weapon glow Airbrush red/orange? for eye color and glow Paint bases black, drybrush several shades of grey to highlight texture Still deciding how to paint the metal. Do I start boltgun metal, wash brown, and drybrush rust? Or instead start with a rusty bronze base and work from there? Imgur gallery: http://imgur.com/a/rBkep Bikes are from Dark Vengeance set with FW and chaos marine bits. Backpacks from possessed marines. Autocannon havoc has heavy bolter/backpack from loyalist marine devastator set with IG sentinel autocannon barrel. Combi-plasmas on the termies. http://i.imgur.com/deIEwh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gXC0x.jpg http://i.imgur.com/KPuFeh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/UmUCN.jpg http://i.imgur.com/piz0a.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/265786-nurgle-death-guard-wip-cc-welcome/ Share on other sites
notsoevil
Looking good and love the base tone you have. As far as the metals, I actually like to start rust colored, drybrush the metal, then a combo of washing and drybrushing the rust back on. The metals shows where needed and the rust turns out great.
