Validar
take 2d6. Name 1 d6 the "10 die" Then you roll both. "10 die" = 3 normal die = 2 == 32 on your boon table :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266112-boon-dice/#findComment-3241370 Share on other sites
henrywalker
yes i know, i was trying t find an actual D36. like you can divide a d6 in half but i still prefer to use an actual D3 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266112-boon-dice/#findComment-3241371 Share on other sites
tvih
Not sure if anyone outright sells D36, but I can tell you such a many-sided die is a pain to use anyway. If it lands on even a slightly uneven surface you can't really tell what number is actually on top. Plus comparing a result of 1-36 to a table that's not numbered for it (and thus you'd have to make your own for quick reference) makes it seems more trouble than it's worth. Minsc
A D36-die would need to be frikkin' huge, else it would be impossible to read the numbers, let alone which number that would actually be on top. With that said, I doubt anyone sells D36es, it would probably have to be a custom job. henrywalker
i know of (and in some cases own) d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100 dice. im sure it must be possible however if no other game system requires it it may not be manufactured by anyone Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266112-boon-dice/#findComment-3241385 Share on other sites
Plaguecaster
You could just stick a whole lot of dice together that might work Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266112-boon-dice/#findComment-3241467 Share on other sites
Brother RedAxe
Since I own a good many different dice I can tell you that any die over a d20 is very hard to read. I own a d100 and never use it due to the fact that it's sides are so small making the actual number difficult to read. I know I have some more unusual numbered dice but can't remember what they are since I never use them for the same reason. WarpWhisper
I've got some dice within dice that might count: http://images.learningresources.com/images/products/en_us/detail/prod7697_dt.jpg Although to be honest, i normally use two seperate D6 as it's easier ;P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266112-boon-dice/#findComment-3241727 Share on other sites
