Haranin
Eyeballing using the Red Scorpians kit to bulk up my Legion force... Are the arms and legs of the tactical marine box sets usable? Looking online, it looks like the knee pads will need a little work, but nothing to extreme. How about the arms? TennisBall
MKIV arms tend to have part of the forearm armour (vambrace) extend down to cover the top of the hand. Normal plastic arms tend to have the vambrace end at the wrist with a raised edge. Knees are probably more noticeable though if you want a different look. MKIV knees tend to be squarer. You can make these from greenstuff, card paper or plasticard. You could possible convert the kneeless MKVI legs too by making a groove across the top to suggest a separate knee but I've not tried this. Use the backpack with the vent on the back. Sanguinary Guard arms could probably be used as MKIV but they're not very versatile. Haranin
Recently there was a good thread about using green stuff to convert the current plastic tacticals to the various marks... I can't find it right now. Anyone bookmark it? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266302-mk-iv-armor/#findComment-3244473 Share on other sites
