Need opinions about a different scheme

Hi to all ¡¡

After much thinking about a different scheme for my GK Army, I decided to give this one a try.

I see GK as the cleanest and purest souls, but they make the dirtiest jobs, so a weathered aspect suggesting experience and a veteran fighter in the middle of the enemy hordes came to my mind. Aegis weapons are the clean contrast, and add a touch of colour.

Added swords and skulls.

I posted it in the Hall of Honor, but I want to ask for suggestions to make it better.

Let me know what you think of it, what would you change.

Thanks.

Your colour scheme is just awsome! I've got no ideas why you want to change anything, as your model is really well balanced.

But if you really want to, I think it should be small and "subtle", like maybe matching DK shoulderpad with the TDK pilot one's.

Anyway, impressive work!

Very impressive NMM work. The harsh lighting effects are very effective at bringing out the contours of the armor, making the model overall very striking.

One thing I'd like to see expanding on the battleworn aspect is some blood and serious battle damage. Space marines are very maintenance heavy war machines, and their armor is no doubt fixed and tuned constantly. Such extreme weathering hints to the fact that the time frame is at the end of a skirmish or continuous campaign, with no chance to clean off or repair damage. As such, there's be gaping holes, derelict pieces of hardware, and blood everywhere on the chassis/ground. Now, you may not want to implement such changes to this model, given how it is already complete, but I'd be very impressed if you went into that much detail on your next piece.

Well done though. You are certainly a very accomplished painter.
