Arguably a Fellblade would probably make more sense defensively than the Typhon but the real money cost difference is a deal breaker imo. Maybe someone with an conversion beamer? Then you'll have S10 close and S10 far. I'd say for flufiness to add a Boarding Shield to at least one of the characters. I think it will look cool as well.
